Hello, hi, toodle-oo or whatever greeting you would prefer.
I like books. A lot. And other things that mesmerize me. Like, splendid music, tea with a tiny drop of milk, dragons, birds in flight, comfy knitted cardigans and beanies, raspberries, light blue nail-polish,
cats animals with fluffy fur, and lastly, but not least, socks.
Anyway, my name is Emma and I’m
almost-grownup pretty much grownup. I live in a town way too far up in the North where I spend my days. I rejoice to be of the female sex and have studied social science, culture and history at school. I spend far too much time in front of my lovely computer to be healthy. I (kinda) like to write when I can bring myself to it or feel for it.
As for what I read, I’m what I would like to call, a nerd (self-proclaimed, but that same dear friend of mine that made me do this acknowledged it). So I like fantasy books and classics, but not necessarily in that order…perhaps I should just sum it up and say that I can read pretty much everything. So feel free to leave suggestions!
(I also possess a childlike love to Pokémon. Shame on me)
“When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty, I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”
Quote by C.S. Lewis.
